    Very useful advice! I didn’t realize unplugging electronics could save that much energy. I’ll definitely look into a programmable thermostat and better window shading.

      Sounds great! But I'm surprised that you didn't know about the potential savings of unplugging appliances, when you seem to have quite a bit of knowledge in other areas:

        Sometimes it comes down to understanding the littles things that most know about that can confuse the educated. it is called common sense.
