Production quoted for my roof (east facing only):
21 - E20 - 327 w/SolarEdge = 10,140 kwh/yr or 845 kwh mo
21 - E20 - 327-C-AC = 9,665 kwh/yr or 805 kwh mo
generally speaking, why is efficiency better for SolarEdge Optimizers? (if correct). I don't know which specific model SolarEdge optimizer it is...

You keep calling them edge optimizers. The company name is SolarEdge and they are just optimizers or SolarEdge optimizers.
