If it works to ANY advantage, I'll be happier. I understand I'll be modestly banking again in Sept and Oct but it stops adding up December 15. APS " settles up and if I have any "banked" credits, they cut me a literal check paying some miniscule amount per kwh. It's a racket for sure.

Yeah APS has a less than ideal method of net metering TrueUp, which from what ive read is not as bad as SRP because they start everyone over in April, which would mean you would never offset your net positive generation in both Fall + Spring months... You get paid out at a very low rate and they are never credited against any other months usage.

I know you've been unhappy with your experience but think about it... If you had purchased a true 100% offset system, with all those extra panels you see at your neighbors house, you would be getting screwed over that much extra. You would have paid a higher monthly principle/interest amount PLUS all those extra credits you generate in the Fall would never amount to much. This means lots more cost, for slot less benefit. I've seen on this board several intelligent members respond that in AZ with APS and SRP, it is extremely cost INeffective to size/buy a PV system more than anything 66% of your annual production. It seems like Harmon may have done you right, rather than wrong, excluding the miscommunication of your expectations to have a zero bill.

I just got a call back from the rep from APS. He ran numbers using a fixed 24/7 rate plan compared to my EPR-6 noon to 7 plan. Best estimate is the flat rate, at this point in the year, would be saving me an additional $5 a month over the EPR-6. Interesting. But we went over 24 months of bills looking at actual KWh usage year to year month to month. I have 3 meters on my house. APS can and does watch and collect TOTAL solar daily production and actual "buy back" or "needed" electricity from APS. Pretty interesting. We went over a few months to get me used to the formula to determine my "total electricity needed for my house, APS and solar combined. He gave me 6 months of actual solar production for 2016 and now I can go to my bills and figure each month exactly were things stand.
Last month as it stands, my usage was 7% less than last year, same month. During the winter months, it's going to be higher. This number will be helpful "IF" I decide to ask Harmon/SP to re-figure my system in December.

But anyway, it's a huge learning experience for sure.
SunPower's lease states "savings $360 per year."
Harmon says "on track to save $800 per year."
As PRESENTED, we will save all but maybe $32 to $40 per month, Period. (that ain't gonna happen!LOL)

The "trend", the best we can figure so far, is it's a crap shoot! LOL December will tell the truth. But I also need to figure my "intentional savings" percent too. Again, i'm comparing total 2015 to 2016. No more, no less,

So, i'm tired and it's screaming hot outside but my house is 72 and my shop is 78. It's the 10 foot "walk to work" that's the killer! LOL

Been a while and got my last bill a couple of days ago. Time for an update. So far, i'm AHEAD 2016 compared to 2015 by $814.20. It appears to be holding its own. Just two more easy months to go. I"m just about busted on "banked" Kwh's but temps are WAY down now. But some of that plus is i've also cut back on my usage too. APS is going to call in December to help me get the best most accurate dollar vs. dollar comparison to see just how much I've "helped" make the target. As far as the legal wordage in the lease from SunPower states, it has met it's requirements. Piss poor as they were, they won that one. But i'm still pissed at Tom Hayes at Harmon Solar for BS'ing my wife and I. But i"ve got more pressing crap to deal with than that turd. So..............APS may owe me a couple bucks in December. But my big savings will come year after year as APS keeps pushing for more and more rate hikes and BS fees that i'm "supposedly" exempt from. (sigh)

25% savings is still a win. October is the right time to exhaust the banked peak credits.
