        SWI Cable drawing

The SW+ and SW may have different lock times depending on SW rev of non-plus unit. My two 4048's that are stacked have different SW rev's and the newer unit takes about a minute longer to re-engage when grid returns. Other then that quirk there is no problem. I have never tried connecting the plus to non-plus units. I can tell you the plus units hang on a bit longer for a startup surge current so they are good when you have a tough motor to start.

My guess is the stacking will probably work. Other then controlling simultaneous shutdown/activation and off grid phase sync, stacked units operate pretty much independently.
I have looked for this Dwg for a long time. I have 2 SW 4048's and have just run one then the other. One on one side of the 220 line and one on the other but not able to run both at the same time. Thanks

If anyone has a schematic diagram for the SWI (series stacking cable interface), I sure could use it. Looks like the link in the previous post is broken. Thanks!

            Here you go!

Used this cable to stack a 5548 and a 4048.

On the stacking cable schematic, which end goes to which inverter ?

The cable is symmetric...that is, pin 1 goes to pin 23, pin 2 goes to pin 14, etc. to/from both connectors. It makes no difference which way you plug it in.

                  Thanks,
