Not me, Never been a office worker. Construction my whole life till I wrecked my back. Retired now and enjoying time between Catalina Island and Baja California.
Anyhow, I wish you success with your solar project in that beautiful locale.

Your panels are 30V panels, not 12v, 12V panels produce Vmp at about 18V. These are Grid-Tie design panels.

Mike, if you refer back to his last plan drawing on post #57, he is using 200 watt 12 volt panels with this system. He has 4 200 watt 12 volt panels and 2 250 watt 60 cell panels which after much discussion are not in this plan any more.

              Sorry for the confusion guys.
Had just written a long explanation and the power went off. Lost it all.
The joys of living in the third world.
              Also checked on Google maps.
Nice part of the world also LH.
Bet you have some great fishing there.
Back when I get some power.

Sorry Mike, when you guys told me I had the wrong panels with those two 24v I decided to use tow different systems as in #46 and #47.
I am now concernarating on a 24v system using the 4 x 12v 200w panels I have as in the diagram below.
I am going to use the 24v panels in a 12v system which I will figure out after I put in place the 24v system.
The one now is this one.
If by any chance there is a way to incorporate the grid tie panels I am all ears.
Thank you for being so patient with me.

Still need a pic of the stickers off the back of each style of panels that you want to use.telling me it's a 12V panel is next to meaningless, like I have a 300W peak stereo.

Thanks Mike but the panels in question are down in Tanzania and I am in Kenya..AFAIK They are normal 12v 200 watt panels.

normal 12V panel is 18Vmp, 23Voc 4 in series gives you 92V to kill you charge controller with, at 70F. Does you controller handle 92V ? You have to read the label & manual. If the weather gets colder, the Voc goes higher. Sticker on the back of the panel gives that data too..
