Hello,
My main question is what is the best offgrid inverter to buy? I currently have a 12kw, 48V growatt inverter-charger with built in controller. Built in China. I've had it in operation since this past January and already have had to change the board in it once, and now it's repeating the problem I had before the board change. My system consists of 2 arrays, 7 strings each, 3 panels each string, 315 watt panels. Combiner box below each array. 1- 7000 watt mppt growatt controller for 1st array and 1- 12kw growatt inverter/ charger with built in controller for 2nd array. I have 6 Lithium iron phosphate 48v, 100Ahr batteries. System works great for our complete home but the inverter started shutting down about every 2 weeks or so and progressively gets worse over time until it shuts down 3-5 times a day, unacceptable.
I'm looking for a GOOD inverter that'll last for the long haul, preferably American made. Do any of the gurus here have any suggestions?
Thanks for any input.
