What is your ROI if you invest nothing?
I am new to this forum and this is the 1st topic I checked out...
When it comes to "investing" in solar, most people do not have the capital($30-$50K). What I am recommending, if they are serious about renewable energy solutions, is that they look into the PPA's. About 20% of homes in Massachusetts would qualify for a low to zero upfront investment.
They then buy the power from the system at a 10-50% discount from what they are paying now. Also, there are no surprise price hikes. You know exactly what you are going to pay for electricity over the term of the agreement.
Does that make sense?
