i have '2' systems already installed on my homes - 1 system is 18 sunpower 327's and the other is 28 sunpower 335's - both have solaredge equipment- the smaller system has worked well for the 8 years its been installed, the 28panel system has worked 'ok' - the inverter crapped out after about 7 years, and the installer has replaced a few of the solaredge modules along the way..
now i am looking at panels for my main residence .. i received a quote today for Solar Panels: 50 REC DOM 460AA PURE-RX, Inverters: (50) Enphase IQ8X Micro-inverters .Racking: Iron Ridge n Critter Guards
i am in new york and was quoted 45k f(net) for the system, using the installers (power solutions) bank so that we can get the 15k in rebates from the fed. i would get the 5k in rebates from nystate to take off my taxes... so the bottom line it would cost me 40k - my monthly payment at 9.9pct interest would be around 350, and the salesman said i can pay off the system after the 1st day so to get the fed rebate... trump canceled rebates, but there is a work around...
so my question/s is this a good system, is their something better, and is it priced rite.
