I just would like to know if the ACDELCO PRO 845A battery any good for off grid system? I plan on running it 24 hrs 7 days a week with 16 ACDELCO PRO 845A batteries.

Those Delco batteries are not designed for deep cycle use so I would say no.
What is your calculated daily watt hour usage? That is needed to determine what type and size battery you should use. -
If you use 16 of those 6V batteries, are you planning to run two sets of 8 in parallel to make a 48V battery bank? Putting them in a more parallel configuration to produce a lower voltage is not a good idea. You could get 48V and the amp hours you need using larger capacity 4V or 2V batteries instead.
Running 24/7 is not nearly as important as knowing the power load you are going to supply.

Examples: A 1000W heater for a total of 1 hour each day is 1000 watt-hours.
A 100W light bulb for a total of 10 hours each day is also 1000 watt-hours.
A 2000W well pump for 15 minutes is 2000 x 1/4 = 500 watt-hours.

Ok. lets say 1000 watt hours. That will require a 24volt 208Ah battery system. About 600 watts of solar panels, a 30 amp MPPT CC, and about a 600watt pure sine wave inverter.
A good rule of thumb is about $3000 for each 1kWh production for a solar / battery system.Comment

What arrangement were to thinking? What voltage is your system? How many amp hours are you aiming to have in total capacity? Will that amp hour capacity support your calculated loads? What depth of discharge do you expect?
Those are 6v batteries aren't they? Many would say to avoid a lot of parallel battery connections and that could be a problem for you depending on your system voltage if you're planning on 16 cells - particularly if you're not planning on 48v. If you're planning on a lower voltage, you might be better getting a smaller voltage cell and wiring in series with less strings.Comment

If you are planning on 48v, you might be just fine - depends on your desired amp hours. This battery isn't a solar battery, but it's cheaper to learn with these then a more serious battery.Last edited by gmanInPA; 03-21-2016, 09:54 PM.Comment

I want to use a Conext SW 120/240v Inverter / Charger 4000W . the batteries will be connected in series. Just gonna run refrigerator , television and fan and some lights.Comment

The refrigerator will likely be the biggest load, depending on what kind and model you choose. The television may waste a lot of power with its instant-on feature and the corresponding constant power drain even when off. And the fan is a complete unknown.
With no additional information it sounds like you have a much higher capacity system than you will actually need.

Too may people on the forum arrive having used the "Ready, Fire, Aim" approach.
Please read the sticky threads on system sizing in the Off Grid section. There is much wisdom there.
