solar panel install started in montauk new york

finally started my install at the beach in Montauk new York... the rails are installed, as is the piping for the wiring... next week (weather permitting) the panels go up, and we should be online shortly after that... the install is 28 SP 335's, with solaredge equipment.. I reckon with conservation of led lights, shutting down '2' fridges when not in use (sept-may) etc etc... these 28 panels should provide us 100% of our needs...

yes it is really nice out in Montauk... but I find it equally nice in jan at the Hilton on mission bay ... we spend most/all of jan out in your neck of the woods soaking up the sun b4 we come back east for some snow shoveling....

the panels are in, and the meter is going backwards...

from the street all u see are the sides of the rails/panels... on the side from the pool area, u can see em... but they are not unslightly ...imo... we'll see what the boss (wife) says tommorrow

Great looking house and panels!! I think solar panels look cool even when they don't....but yours look fantastic.

thanks guys.. boss came,saw, and gave the thumbs up... 1st day production on a clear crisp day was a tad over 50.. next day which was as nice, but a tad warmer was 49 n change...

we banked just about 60 over the weekend... since the house is rarely used from mid sept-mid may, I'm hoping we can bank enough to give us a 'zero' bill...

a month??? holy #6h*^4... I'd be pissed.. what's the hold up??... our was installed last Friday, and on Monday the installers had us online where we can monitor the system..I feel for ya... hope they get their finger out of their --- soon

Installer did everything they could, but the NJ state is backed up on SREC approvals and without that the PSEG can't replace the meter and issue the PTO. State is telling me that thats once the PTO is issued its another 2 months before the SREC account could be setup, but I could still claim all the power that I have generated after the PTO, which is a good thing.

this is our 2nd install with sunation... very happy...mite go for a 3rd soon...
