connecting 12dc cigarette lighter socket to battery

i have a adaptor for car which i want to connect it to the solar battery. it has 3 adaptorss with usb output. Can i just cut the wire and connect it to the battery straight?

Without knowing more about it, I'd say no. Got a photo or a sketch, or a link to where you bought it? we need to know more about what you plan on cutting into.

cut the end off which goes into the car adaptor. add 5amp fuse then connect it to the battery?

Not sure about your USB but I have three cigarette lighters in a cupbconnected to my batteries charged by panels that I use a charging station and it works great! Yes you can,but what do you want to power with it? It has very limited uses of a max 3 watts output.

Thanks i just wanted to know if it was possible without regulator. Don't wanna blow things up. On the item description it says total output power 60watts I will be using it to charge AA/AAA batteries. USB charging and all. i will use in on the battery box that i made. Which i can carry it when the battery is charged when i go camping. And the charge regulator also stuck on the box. its like portable power with all functions.

Are those wires connected directly to the battery? don't you need something to regulate the power?

There is a regulator for the solar panels on the charging end but yes they are connected directly to the battery, been running for over a year now no problem.
