I looked at this for a few minutes...

You forgot to back out the one time CA Climate credit, for $29. Your bottom line was still $158... pretty impressive.
Here is where out two scenarios really differ... Off peak, and especially weekends.

My house comes alive after 4pm or so..... still being in "Peak" until 8pm would kill me.
also, weekends is where you make allot of $$.. I have the TV, A/C, and most everything the kids touch on 24 x 7 , all weekend. My weekend generation numbers suck, but I got solar to be confortable, not rich. I'm going to look closer at this later, its pretty compelling stuff....Comment

I download the usage for 365 days and run them in spreadsheet and decided to go with TOU-D-A. My highest usage fall in Summer/Winter, so I really need to build up a big credit to offset those usages. Every families were different, just pick the best for youself.
You will not get rich when SCE pays you $0.04 per kWh for over generation (your cost is higher). My consumption is higher than solar generation I don't have any $$$ coming to me at true-up. I'm just hoping I can balance the account with my solar system. My billing cycle ends today and looks like I'm getting a -$129 credit for -26kWh over generation.
Base on the graph, you can already tell I will be using more kWh than my solar generation. 1st EV starts on 07/2014 and 2nd EV launch on 03/2015. I actually need a little larger system than 7.1kW.... perhaps an 8.5kWComment

log into your SCE account. Look for "green botton" on lower left. select date rage (data only support from last 13 months). select download format (.csv)and select account to download.
It is not hard to do it on your own if you have Excel. The data offering from date range selection break down to each hour usage. So you get 24 datas per day. All you need is adding the usage for every hour for example from 12am to 1am, you just add from Jan 1st to Jan 2nd. Once your create the formula (just one cell + another cell) Point on lower right cornor and drag down....... sorry I did not know if you are good with Excell or no.... If you have problem, text me your email and we can go on pm.Comment

InsaneOctane and I collaborated on a very good spreadsheet for comparing the different SCE plans. If you download the data as SilverSaver suggests, it would drop in fairly easily. I can send the spreadsheet to any SCE user interested, or will run the numbers for you as time permits, if you PM me the data. It would be good to verify that all spreadsheets being recommended here give similar results.CS6P-260P/SE3000 - http://tiny.cc/ed5ozxComment
