    Hi Mike,

Sounds good - I'll drop it down to an hour for the boost.

Right now there is no real load or duty cycles on the battery - it's used to run my ham radio stuff when I go out of town sometimes.
So right now I'll use the panel and this new controller just to keep it topped up.

As a test, I have two small led lights I have on the deck that are set to turn on at dusk and off at dawn to collect data but they draw only 0.02 of an amp but it's something to track.
I have the remote temp probe and the RS485 to USB cable on order to add more toys to the system coming as well.

    Cheers'
    Dave

If you are just "keeping it on "FLOAT" and not using it, Just charge 1x a week or month, 2 hour absorbs on a full battery will cook the water out of it.

        Hi Gang,

So I got a new RS485 dongle and moved the EPEver monitoring software to a new PC. It's now alive but for some odd reason the battery voltage in green is MIA on the screen?
Any suggestions - also I have the boost set to 10 mins only and EQ set to 0 but the monitoring software says it's in BOOST now and not stopping ...... (here's a screen shot)

        Any ideas?

        Cheers'

Hi.... Probably late on my comments, but my two cents... you could try the "String Calculator" from Morningstar web page. It could help you and others finding possible configurations for the MS Products when combining them with solar modules since they got a huge data base on those.... http://string-calculator.morningstarcorp.com/

Hope it could help you and others.

          Kind Regards!!!
