  • String Inverter For 3 Wire 3 Phase 240 Delta

    Hi Everyone

Looking to start my long awaited project in the next few weeks.
    I have a contract for 50 panels 350w or 17.75kw system.
Here is the problem. I have a two transformer on the power company pole that provides me with 1 200amp 3 wire 240 delta.
Then I have 2 200amp services that are pulled from the low legs of the delta with a third wire ground. All of these go to separate breaker panels.
I was going to use a 15kw 3 phase inverter but with 240 three wire no neutral I have not found one that will work.
So is my best option to use 3 5kw single 240 inverters?
I would have to have a strange animal for my project.

    Thanks Neal

I believe there are a number of companies that make a 3 phase inverter but they may not be exactly what you need since you are on what I think is a 240V open Delta line.

To make sure you get the correct one I would contact your POCO to find out what they feel will work on the power distribution line you are connected to.
