i have 4 12v panels that need to be wired series parallel to output 24v! Im using S.O. cable with red and black wires. I need a detailed wiring diagram on how to do this. Can anyone help?

What are you charging, and what kind of controller are you using ?

Provided the panels have MC-4 connectors in the output cables you series connect two at a time, then use a parallel branch connector. From there you can buy a length of pv wire with male and female MC-4 ends and cut it in half to continue on to your switch gear.

OK, so you need a simple 2S2P PV array.
wire 2 panels in series, and then the other 2 in series
then take the 2 pairs, and wire in parallel

I use this type of PV setup for greenhouse lighting system is this your set-up if so I soldered and shrink wrapped my cables
