PN you know I am a fan of Anderson Connectors, good stuff. But to all using them, never ever add any solder to any compression connector. All that does is add resistance and weakens the connection. Every code making authority either limits or forbids any soldered connections. Examples SAE (Automotive), ABYC (Marine), FAA (Aircraft) all forbid soldered connections, and NEC (Home-Buildings-Industrial) allow solder providing the solder is not used or relied upon for electrical or mechanical connection.

Well, it's hard to argue first hand results. 8 years is way beyond the warranty & design of golf cart batteries, usually a 1 yr warranty, and with good care you get 4 years from them.
