i specifically stated to use an incandescent lamp, as a LED or florescent systems have a ballast that stabilizes the voltage and hides voltage flaws exactly of the sort we are looking for.
AAahhhhhh, you did. I apologize. I forgot and was thinking to stay away from LED and use florescent. I did use the incandescent lamp when I hooked to the battery and got a stable, bright light. I forgot and grabbed the florescent when I hooked to inverter inputs.
Mike. I did as also advised and hooked that florescent light directly to the input leads on the inverter from the battery and got full, stable power to that light from there as well.
That doesn't tell you a thing. A fluorescent light has its own inverter that might deal with dropouts better than your inverter.
