Ok I have taken measures again. Here are some pictures. Help me undestand the reading. By point, means .005 in difference? Example 1.275 + compensation of 2 would be 1.277? What are the values between numbers, 1.225 to 1.250 are increments of .05 or .005?Comment

The hydrometer should have come with instructions on how to read and compensate it. Or you can google hydrometer instructions and chose winemaking, or battery acid, all the same sort of tool.
Rinse with distilled water before use, and again afterwards. Acid residue is really sticky and will gum things up and it won't read right, Also beware any tiny bubbles sticking to the float,Powerfab top of pole PV mount (2) | Listeroid 6/1 w/st5 gen head | XW6048 inverter/chgr | Iota 48V/15A charger | Morningstar 60A MPPT | 48V, 800A NiFe Battery (in series)| 15, Evergreen 205w "12V" PV array on pole | Midnight ePanel | Grundfos 10 SO5-9 with 3 wire Franklin Electric motor (1/2hp 240V 1ph ) on a timer for 3 hr noontime run - Runs off PV ||
