FlexMax 80 Outback & Lithium Batteries

    Hi All,

I have a question if here's anybody around who has experience with Outback FlexMax 80 and lithium batteries.

I'm setting up a 12 volt battery bank with 720Ah capacity.

Anybody can advise about the right charger settings for lithium batteries?

    Many thanks upfront

    Kind regards

    Johan

The batteries will have their own specs, much like every mfg of lead acid batteries has their own specs.

Better question is will the BMS be able to handle such a large bank and charging source ?

If they are LiFePO4, set the Flexmax to Absorb to 13.6v (3.4v/cell), absorb time 30mins. Set float to 13.4(3.35v/cell). Turn off temp compensation and equalisation.
