A friend tried this but it killed the generator due to startup current. I believe the problem is due to low idle. There are remote contacts that can close on generator to increase motor speed prior to compressor starting. Never got to build timer into AC to run wires to generator remote input. He opted to buy bigger generator before I got home from vacation. Technically it could run it but this is beyont abilities of most for automatic operation.
