You should test out your demonstration before hand so you don't get an F. If you try to power any loads larger than about 20 watts that inverter is going to shut down due to low voltage drop from that little battery. If you take 2Ah from that battery (run a 13W CFL light bulb for an hour), it'll take that panel a good day and a half to recharge the battery with good sun and proper sun angles.
I'd be careful about the message you convey here as your demonstration is beginning under false pretenses already (begin with battery fully charged by house AC powered charger and demo unsustainable load from same battery). You need to be sure to say that the solar panel didn't do a dang thing here. Don't make 30 other kids that "love PV power" by presenting misleading info (as has apparently been fed to you at some point).
