I am installing it, but how the hell do I remove the bottom caps of the CC so I pass the wiring from the inside of the CC to outside?

If it's like the MS MPPT 60, they are just big knockouts. Screwdriver as a punch, and a hammer to break them loose, and then twist off with big pliers.Powerfab top of pole PV mount (2) | Listeroid 6/1 w/st5 gen head | XW6048 inverter/chgr | Iota 48V/15A charger | Morningstar 60A MPPT | 48V, 800A NiFe Battery (in series)| 15, Evergreen 205w "12V" PV array on pole | Midnight ePanel | Grundfos 10 SO5-9 with 3 wire Franklin Electric motor (1/2hp 240V 1ph ) on a timer for 3 hr noontime run - Runs off PV ||

Yeah, that's what I figured. It's odd they build it like that so you have to break it.
Thank you.Comment

Go to the hardware store and buy a couple J boxes and have fun punching out the "knockouts" in them.
The dimpled areas are called "Knockouts" because you knock them out with a hammer and punch. Practice on a $3 box before attacking the MS boxPowerfab top of pole PV mount (2) | Listeroid 6/1 w/st5 gen head | XW6048 inverter/chgr | Iota 48V/15A charger | Morningstar 60A MPPT | 48V, 800A NiFe Battery (in series)| 15, Evergreen 205w "12V" PV array on pole | Midnight ePanel | Grundfos 10 SO5-9 with 3 wire Franklin Electric motor (1/2hp 240V 1ph ) on a timer for 3 hr noontime run - Runs off PV ||

In my opinion the epitome of fun is trying to knock out just the right combination of pieces in a box with concentric knockouts for different sizes.SunnyBoy 3000 US, 18 BP Solar 175B panels.Comment
