    MorningStar MPPT 45

I am installing it, but how the hell do I remove the bottom caps of the CC so I pass the wiring from the inside of the CC to outside?

If it's like the MS MPPT 60, they are just big knockouts. Screwdriver as a punch, and a hammer to break them loose, and then twist off with big pliers.

Yeah, that's what I figured. It's odd they build it like that so you have to break it.

      Thank you.

Just about all electric utility boxes are built that way.

Go to the hardware store and buy a couple J boxes and have fun punching out the "knockouts" in them.
The dimpled areas are called "Knockouts" because you knock them out with a hammer and punch. Practice on a $3 box before attacking the MS box

And stock up on blank plugs to fill the holes up again if you want to use the box and will not need all the holes.
In my opinion the epitome of fun is trying to knock out just the right combination of pieces in a box with concentric knockouts for different sizes.
