Huh? A lease can be a good way to finance, get the tax credit sooner, or get the tax credit if you wouldn't normally qualify, or all of these together. Like anything else, pay attention to the terms and the details or pay someone else to look them over.

nm. found a workaround.

didn't see much in the legislation that isn't there already. I believe the solarchitty leases already show total cost.
I know they give you 3 days, they also say you can actually cancel after that, basically anytime before they actually have the install crews there (and I did). they also have the guarantee for production.

granted, not a fan of SC, but this leg doesn't change anything... it appears.
