    Why have a Positive Ground?

Was reviewing solar controllers and ran across some that are for Positive Grounds.

Why have an aray setup like that?

    Thanks,
    Bill

It's the way the panels are made, ion charges build up, and choke the panel, loosing about 20-30% power. It's reversable when connected to the right inverter. Sunpower used to have a site where they explain it.
