    Solar panel charging issues

Hi everyone, new to the site and I had a question.I am hoping someone could answer for me.
My son is starting a new Sawmill business with a wood drying kiln, we have a set of 5-195 watt solar panels on the roof of the kiln(Sea can, facing south)it is wired into a 100A MPPT solar charger, from there it is connected to 2-280ah Lithium iron phosphate batteries in parallel , from the batteries(connected parallel) to a 5,000 watt 12vdc to 120vac inverter, which then is connected to a 595 watt continuous load.
My question is, shouldn’t this system be able to run the load I have and charge the batteries at the same time?
it does not ,do I have something set up wrong or is it just not adequate enough.the solar control is reading PV 19.8 volts. Output 4.0, battery 12.9v 1.6a
any help would be very appreciated
    thanks …ValleyAcres

Making less than 1,000 watts. Some will be lost going through the charger, more will be lost going into and out of the battery. I think he would be lucky to see any less than 20% losses, before it even gets to the load.

Using a 400 watt heater would allow half of the wattage to stay with the battery charging it.

That is a lot of money for such a tiny heater.

I think he would be better off to have a clear greenhouse roof on top of a shed and use the electricity to power a recirculating fan.

One of the key items you mentioned was "continuous" load. At best you will get 5 equivalent sun hours Per day of charging out of your panels. Basically you're not making enough power to run a continuous load taken into account all the losses involved and inefficiencies. If you doubled the size of your solar array and battery bank you'd be able to pull this off but as mentioned above it's a lot of cost and equipment to do a small task. Using solar power to create heat is not the best route.

It sounds like you're inverter is way too large for your needs and a 5000 Watt 12 volt inverter is on the verge of being dangerous.

        Thanks for the info.
I should have clarified our heat source is propane and does not require electricity to operated, what is connected is fans and a dehumidifier which are consuming the almost 600 watts and the only reason we have the 5000 watt inverter is the dehumidifier takes 1800 to start (less than 200 there after)but it runs continuous after that to bring the humidity down to 8%
we have a small 2200 watt Honda generator which runs the load very well even on economic mode(runs 1/2 power) but we were hoping the solar array would work.
        thanks

Hi everyone. I have a solar system that is stuck in night mode since 5/14/2025.
I have tried rebooting the system several times with no luck.
I tried contacting the the installer (Solcius) and the sales company (Avolta), both are no longer in business. The system components are from
          Solaredge.
Any ideas I could try to get the system up and running?
