    Hi Mike 134,

Yes I understand, the thing is we don't have the resources to fund the work mate, its a forum run by people who dedicate their time to do what they do for you and every other member, for free, and well sometimes we just cant always get what we want (rolling stones reference intended) , its possible in the future that funds may become available, I certainly hope so, cheers

All the Mods here do the modding for free, and what your asking for would be very time consuming and as far as I see it of very little value to anyone really, so there it is, cheers
The site becomes of little value to anyone if it's not kept current. Cheers.

I thought Aussies had a thicker skin. Maybe it's fortunate he and Sunking never crossed paths.
Anyway, Fourdoor's snowflake-like response is of no concern or offense to me.
Having said that, it looks to me like the guy can't take a joke or he's so uptight only dogs can hear his farts.
I do see he has had no response (so far) to my more recent post pertaining to his possible system clipping.
    I'm outa' this thread.

You can't PM anyone here or contact members except through a public post so where else would you ask the question? Seems all the OP is suggesting is that stickies with bad links or old information that might not be as relevant these days, considering the latest tech, should probably be reviewed and maybe unstuck if they are not that helpful. I don't get the sharp reply by JPM unless there is some past history between him and the OP I don't know about.

I guess as a "solar fanatic" you like answering the same question over and over and over and over instead of being able to refer a new board member to a sticky post with the answer to their question... really pumps up the post count I guess.

    Hi Keith

Those "Stickies" were developed years ago and may or may not be relevant to today but did back when they were current. So out of curiosity why would you want to change them?

Any way to clean up the stickie posts?

I was looking at some sticky posts, they were posted by members that no longer post, have broken links, (and in the case I am thinking of right now) were made sticky and locked by a moderator who also no longer posts here... so I don't know who or how to contact someone for cleanup.

    Thanks,

    Keith
