I'm looking for a way to disconnect the 1.64kw panels from the Victron 250/100. I've wired the panels in series (four 410w, 131v, and 10amp). What are my alternatives?

I am presuming the Victron is rated for that high an input voltage. -
I would look for a 250V 30amp DC rated 2 pole disconnect switch. That way you can open both of the DC wires at the same time and since the switch is rated for DC it should be able to handle any arc produced.

You need a DC isolator switch. Google it. Normally all the strings would come into a combiner box with DC (not AC) MCB, surge protector out into an isolator switch (termed disconnect) before going into your inverter.Comment
