Solarpanels for boat 48v system? What to buy?

    Greetings sun worshipers =)
Have some problems determine what to buy to be able to run some electric engines in my boat. The engine requires 48V and max is 70v but from there I am lost.
From what I have understood the output is different from solar panels. Some are 12, 24, 48v?
Have found a panel 500w with max power voltage of 42v but I need 48v-70v.
Should I connect 2 panels in series to obtain 84v? << but this is to much for the system...so what to do?

Also battery pack I will connect 2 * 24v in series to get 48V, but what will happen if I try to charge the batteries with the two solar panels in series of 84? Off course I will use regulator.

Charge Controllers with MPPT tech can take any voltage input and they will convert it to the desired output voltage. The idea of the Charge Controller is to monitor your batteries at optimum.
