solarbridge powere manaager not discover modules

The solar power manager is a gateway device that use " power line communications " (PLC) to collect status and performance data from solar bridge enabled AC modules. My power manager will not discover modules. I am assuming the PLC isn"t working. Any suggestions for why this is happening? Could the modules electronic connection be the cause or maybe a bad ground?

PLC uses a kilohertz signal on the power line, ground is not a factor. Some surge and filter devices will block the signal, if you have a fancy computer surge strip, even in another area of the house, it can shunt the signal away.

    Did it ever work ?

The system that was installed had a solar bridge SP101 power manager that worked reporting through our computer until March 2018, about the time sun power sold solar bridge to enphase and stopped maintaining the power portal. We tried to monitor through the power manager but it did not show any production and was unable to discover any modules when we tried. We bought a SP103 on ebay and tried to set it up. All went well until we tried to "discover modules" , it could not discover any. We have a 10 year old apple computer and a couple samsung tablets. Nothing has changed, as far a s we know there has not been a power surge. Our solar installed has moved on and is no longer interested and sunpower has not been helpful.
