I don't know anything about it, and certainly don't recommend or endorse it, but a recent search for solar thermal pool heating came across Cool PV, which is something I had thought about before but never seen produced. Basically they're running water in a collector attached to the back of the panel (they use SolarWorld, so I bet it's expensive).
Seems like a win-win if they are reliable or cost effective. Mixing water and electricity worries me a bit for its longevity, but it shouldn't be that tough if it's manufactured well.
