Okay so I was reading on a Tesla forum on how some guy wanted to charge his Tesla with solar panels on his garage, and someone said how you could only charge the car at half a mile a day, up to one mile on a good day.

So I was wondering, when will solar panel technology get to the point where it can charge Tesla cars for maybe 10-15 miles an hour?
