    What happen if PV EVA exceed the shelf life?

    i have this question in mind.
    what happen if our EVA exceed the shelf life? what happen to it's chemical structure, it's properties and appearance?

    I would expect the Mfg. warranty would not apply, as the material properties may have changed enough over time that the results will be less they optimum. The shelf life is for a reason. Maybe less adhesion, too viscous of flow, yellows over time.......

      Like the Best By date on food, the nominal shelf life is a combination of CYA and actually degradation of the product.
      Not knowing just what and how severe the degradation might be, I would be reluctant to take a chance on using it, especially for panels that I expect to use for a long time.
      And using it on one panel and observing it for a year will leave the rest of the batch even worse off in terms of shelf life.
      On the other hand the shelf life may be batter than marked if it was stored in ideal conditions rather than just within the storage temp limits on the label.
