The new solar panels are comming in the next 3 months and are amazing. Up to 41% eff. Lower cost to produce, lower cost all around.

would you mind explaining more about these panels? have any links, articles, etc?

I'm thinking 10 years from now, as I build my son's first home (personal dream of mine) we'll put panels on the roof. The panels will cost a LOT less than what they do now, and produce a LOT more power. They'll be as common as windows by then, on all new homes being built. I'll then tell the "back in the old days, solar panels cost $5/watt . . ."
