    Inverter monitoring data export?

One thing I'd like from the inverter(s) in my future system is a convenient
way to grab data from them via a script.

For instance, the TED5000 has a built-in web server, and if you fetch
a certain URL from that web server, you get the day's data. Simple.

    What inverters offer this feature?

I see Enphase has a way to do this (see https://developer.enphase.com/ )

SMA may not document it well, but people do it anyway (see http://openenergymonitor.org/emon/bu...ters-bluetooth )

LG EnerBox / EnerVu, on the other hand, looks somewhat sealed.
Has anyone with Mono X ACe modules been able to get EnerVu to e.g. export a spreadsheet yet?

SolarEdge and most other inverters offer an API as well. If you aren't familiar with it, PVOutput.org offers canned routines to pull and display data from many inverters, or receive pushed data, and download it again through an API or direct to CSV. They also have an open API that you can use to independently send data from a structured CSV, for instance. Check out their help page for more details.

You'll see Wattvision in the list... in SoCal, the Eagle, by Rainforest Automation, can connect to your power company's meter and transfer the dat through Wattvision to PVoutput.org. Search the forum for Wattvision for more information on this, if you are interested.
