    Selling SCREC credits yourself

Anyone out there selling SREC credits yourself instead of going through a broker? How do you sell an SREC credit yourself? The broker I was introduced to wants 10% is the resonable? I have a 10 kw array and have produced 1.4mwh in the last 5 weeks. Any input would be much appreciated.

Here in Maryland which is similar to PA you can sell them yourself by law
However the reality is the utilities are not required to purchase direct from producers and do not.
They only buy at auction in large lots of many small producers like you
Buying from individuals even 10 at a time would be a nightmare to keep track of for them

Thank you admin, does a 10% brokerage fee sound reasonable?

Who are you selling them through.
Brokerage commission may be higher in Pa as prices are very low for SRECS

I am thinking about selling them through Ed Jaustenbuagh out of the Fayette county extension office, but I wanted to check out other options and I am having trouble getting information.
