    Information on solar lighting

We are planning to place solar lighting in our Society (around 150 flats). We are located in India (Maharashtra). I have some basic queries regarding solar energy option. Any help (references etc.) are welcome.
    My queries are
    * What is the amount for solar installation?
    * What is break even period for the amount?
    * Is there any government subsidy available for this? If yes how much is it?
    * How much time is required for installation of such system?
    * what is maintenance cost of such a system? Is it too high?

    thanks
    Vishal.

    * What is the amount for solar installation?
Varys depending on your local labor rates for roof and electrical work

    * What is break even period for the amount?
Depends on how much you spend, vs how much you currently pay
about 7-20 years roughly, in the United States

    * Is there any government subsidy available for this? If yes how much is it?
    Check with your local officials

    * How much time is required for installation of such system?
Skilled installers (4 people) can install a 10KW system in 2 days.

    * what is maintenance cost of such a system? Is it too high?
