Hi guys. I'm new to solar power, and I need a little help. For a remote cabin, I have two mono 50w panels. imp-2.8,vmp-17.35,isc-3.08,voc-21.8. I have one 100w panel, mono, imp-5.68,vmp-17.6,isc-6.28,voc-22.1. What is the best way to hook these panels together to charge my 12v bank. Can I parallel them all through one controller? Or should I use two controllers for best efficiency. Hope I'm making sense here. I appreciate any input. Thanks. Chester

You can hook them all in parallel, the Vmp is very close on them.
The total amps comes up to about 11.3amps, so if your existing controller can handle that, you are fine.Powerfab top of pole PV mount (2) | Listeroid 6/1 w/st5 gen head | XW6048 inverter/chgr | Iota 48V/15A charger | Morningstar 60A MPPT | 48V, 800A NiFe Battery (in series)| 15, Evergreen 205w "12V" PV array on pole | Midnight ePanel | Grundfos 10 SO5-9 with 3 wire Franklin Electric motor (1/2hp 240V 1ph ) on a timer for 3 hr noontime run - Runs off PV ||

Thanks for that info Mike. I have a 30amp sunforce controller. It is a PWM model, but from what I have been reading, I don't gain that much by going to mppt for such a small system. And the cheaper chinese mppt units have mppt written on the front, but the fine print says they charge using pwm parameters. Go figure. Great, informative site. Thanks again. ChesterComment
