Right but the 200w of panels operate on like 12 amps so then I would need a small fuse/breaker on the panel side and then keep the larger amp stuff behind a 250A fuse?
I have breakers at my panels.
Then a voltage spike shunt/lightning device,
a 100 ft run into my house,
another voltage spike shunt/lightning device,
then another breaker and it goes into my charge-controller and the inverter.
"Say like if the inverter was dropped in your lap and you need to somehow use it? Sure that might work."?
So say a
2000w inverter was dropped in your lap, you'd have to use 4 or 2 guage wire with it or even larger wire because 2000w inverter creates 196 amps, so would it work?
200 watts of panels will only ever create 200 watts of power. The issue comes when your battery bank is full, then there might be a lot of power ready to flow. From the battery bank to the inverter you would need large high capacity wiring.
