Monitoring Energy Production and Use with Emporia Vue and Smart Plugs

Earlier this month I wrote an article and gave Emporia Energy permission to publish the article I wrote on their website. The article details utilizing two Emporia products to monitor and schedule the use of electrical appliances throughout my home. I'd appreciate your thoughts about what I wrote. Interesting, I wonder how good it is at detecting Vampire loads,
and what it can do about them? Years before my solar, I tracked
down the 100 odd Vampire loads on my some 60 circuits, and
managed to reduce Vampire loss from 300W to 60W. The largest
number of them were 5 W or considerably less.

Hey Bruce: +1. I did the same and didn't need the crutch of some overpriced, canned, and probably incomplete software. Added bonus: Doing the job on my own I also learned a lot doing chasing leaky energy that I'd probably would never have guessed at.
