  • Georgia and Net Metering?

Looking to do a residential ground array in Georgia. I've been reading about how there are 5,000 Net Metering spaces available now but I can't find any thing from Georgia Power about it. They are less than responsive to emails asking questions.

Does anyone have experience with DIYing a residential system in GA? I really want to do the system but right now it seems GA Power pays a whole four cents per kwh for what you return to the grid. It seems like Net Metering could be a much better deal.

Also, what rate plan is best for solar? Can you pick nights and weekends or the EV plan? Or do they force you into a plan?
