For 7.6kW and 11.4kW Inverters the strings are 15A max and 400v. I understand that the voltage is maintained by the optimizers at ~400v and I had assumed that the 6000w 'limit' stated by Solar Edge was the max power of the string because (15A)(400v) = 6000w. But it appears that's the STC limit of the modules on the string? So... if I have 24 250w modules on a string and it's a really cold partially cloudy day could current exceed 15A or will the string regulate current to 15A.
