Boviet Panels

Anyone here have any experience with Boviet panels? Installer here is quoting me $2.90/watt for a 9kW system using these panels. Looks like they are 60 Cell Mono panels, but haven't seen many reviews on this panel.

Where are you located? 2.9 per watt seems pretty high especially for a 9kw system.

San Francisco Bay Area, unfortunately $2.90 (before rebate) would be considered cheap around here. All of the other quotes I have are $3.20 and up.

Mike, what are the prices in your area, and where are you? I think the average "decent deal" cost around here is still $3 to 3.50 per watt. I'm in "rural" CA.

I am LA Puente, CA. My offer was $20,000 for 18 330W Canadian Solar panels (5.94KW system) with solaredge SE5000H, it also comes with 200A panel upgrade and 800 sq ft of reroof since my roof is not going to last long. $20,000 - $2,000 panel upgrade - $4,000 for 800 sq ft of re-roof = $14000. $14000 / 5940 = $2.3569 per watts. The offer is from La Solar Group, they have lots of 5 star yelp review. I was really happy with their customer service even though I didn't end up with solar yet. I also have another quote that are lower from Sun Lux, however they are using Qcell. But I think it is $2000 for them to upgrade to LG 335W panels. If you are in southern California, I can give you my contact and she will be happy to help you out.

You guys can also read my post "Help me choose a system", in that post, you will know why I still haven't install solar yet. However, I am not ruling it out, I think I will when I have more money in the future.
