Has anyone seen this before? Inverter stops working, can't access it and it doesn't produce any errors. All three lights are lit up. System has been working fine until last Friday. We had heavy rain all weekend starting Friday. I had to reset it twice over the weekend.

Is it connected to the solaredge cloud monitoring? If so you should be able to get more info on it.OutBack FP1 w/ CS6P-250P http://bit.ly/1Sg5VNH -
Yes, I have everything connected to Pvoutput. I couldn't access it from the inverter or the cloud monitoring system. Solaredge couldn't either until it was reset and said there were no errors. I just got off the phone with our installer and he said solaredge downloaded new firmware and to watch and see if it happens again.Comment

How old is your system? I installed a lot of their early model and had all kinds of failures. Try removing all power both AC and DC and try again. Then call their tech support.BSEE, R11, NABCEP, Chevy BoltEV, >3000kW installedComment

System is just 3 weeks old. It has been working without issues since Solaregde downloaded new firmware. The day it first went down was raining hard and it was the first day I had PTO with PG&E. So I don't know if it was something to do with PG&E or the rain that caused the problem. I guess I'll find out when it rains next. That should be later on next week.Comment

Question, from the pics it looks like it is installed outdoors near a hard water source. Sprinklers?Comment

I am late to the party here but what you have looks like a Comm board lock out.
There have been a bunch of these lately and Solar Edge is working on a fix.some of us think it is the comm board power supply.
The inverter an optimizers are working and delivering energy but the display and on line monitoring don't work.
you can check to see if you are producing by checking you r utility meter when it should be exporting or if you have an amp probe( and trained to use it without getting hurt) you can put it on the inverter output circuit.
have you called your installer or Solar edge about this?
here is the link for the service portal. http://www.solaredge.com/us/faq-page
i hope that's Ok with ADMIN

Thanks You Scott! I just checked my PG&E usage and the system was produceing power on the days the inverter seemed down.
I called my installer and they called Solaredge. Solaredge couldn't access the inverter remotely and ask for it to be reset. My installer said they couldn't find any errors or problems with the inverter once it was reset but said it needed new firmware. So that was downloaded. They told me to keep an eye on it and if it happens again let them know. I felt like I wasn't get the full story on the problem thats why I posted here.
I believe I'm on a lan data hook up because cell service is weak where im located.Comment

I had a similar issue occur recently with my system. Turned out to be a known issue that the installation sd card was left in the card reader and the inverter failed to boot from its internal memory. Simply removing the card seems to have solved the problem. Hope the fix is as simple for you. Good luck!Comment

My installer came out right away and said he couldn't find anything wrong. He then said that while Solaredge was looking at the inverter online they noticed that the firmware needed to be updated so they downloaded what was needed. Everything has been working great since that day. We have had a few rain storms since and everything is working.Comment
