Where to buy and which panel

I am looking to buy a complete setup and have used solar wholesale in the past. Does anyone know of any other wholesaler or similar business that is cheaper or better? Also I am between these three panel types. Astronergy, solarworld and LG

They are all similar watts, either 315 or 320. Ill keep scanning the forums but I haven't seen any bad reviews on the panels just on installers. They all have the same warranty so it comes down to which one seems to be the best. They are also within a few dollars of each other so price doesn't really matter to me. I would rather spent a few dollars for better quality then save it.

Well you doent say which modules you are looking at but on the web site you mentioned, I believe the Astronergy are 72cell at that wattage range, The solarworld are 72 cell as well, but the LG 315w is 60 cell.

So there is a clear size difference. Not sure why people get focused on the watts per module and not the $/w of the module/system though?

Sorry about the size issue. I must have got confused. Ive looked at alot of panels. But the price for the astronergy and solarworld very close, solarworld being 20 dollars more or $.88 and $.93 a watt.

Well if the modules fit. 72cell are harder to handle for DIY.

I am going to have a contractor do it since I don't trust myself. Buying the complete kit is around $1.76 a watt and the contractor is $1.00 a watt. I figured at that low cost the only thing I care about is quality. So if size is no longer an issue which one would you pick?

$0.90/w doesn't seem like a great deal since supposedly module oversupply and lowest prices ever. I'm looking for $0.50/w to add onto my system.

Just my $0.02... in ohio I can get roof mount installed by pros for $2.85...maybe less with some negotiations. This is sma or solaredge, with Canadian solar mono panels on ironridge mounts on a roof. With a 15 year warranty. $3.15 on the ground... Given your at the same price have you requested a turnkey quote from a pro? Obviously prices vary depending on the locale.

I am a EE, have the knowledge and the tools. I couldn't do the work myself for 90% or less than the cost of 100% pro install, not to mention the warranty. And I got to write off their labor on taxes on the ITC. DIY cannot write off labor.

My cost for diy came from wholesale solar for identical parts and pieces...their prices were not even close to the pros material cost.

I agree with the less than $0.90 logic...the market is flooded and it's cheap...look harder.
