I live in San Jose, CA

I got couple quotes

20 Sunpower 320, solaredge, $23000 Sunworks
22 Solarword 285, M250, $20340 without permit cost and panel upgrade
25 Huyndai, 260, M215, $23000 with panel upgrade

Which one should I select? From Sunworks that is the cost for everything.

Your first quote sounds too good to be true at $3.59 per watt for northern California and almost unheard of for pre-tax rebate price. But if the quote is after rebate then the price is way too high at $5.13 per watt. I will do a more thorough search on the vendor's reputation and quality of their work if the price is indeed correct for pre-rebate quote. Most of Californians pay between $4.25 to $5 for Sunpower panels. Good luck.

To OP, that is a really good deal for the SunPower E20s. I live in SoCal and I just had mine installed in March for $24,000 for 19 panels. I have a white roof so these look batter than the x series and the LGs. Plus I was limited on space because of a big palm tree. I was getting similar quotes for the LGs too.

Hi Ktran1. Thanks for the offer but I already signed the contract and am in the process of getting my installation done. With the SP's price being way below market price, I am not sure if I have a really good deal or more likely be highly skeptical for such a deal.

Thanks for your feedback, I take Sunpower deal from Sunworks. The installation will be 6 weeks out. After tax it will cost $16100.

If I don't have first choice I would go with solarWorld quote, 3.29/W
