The Enphase website lists the S280 as one of their 5th generation micro-inverter options for residential/commercial, and it looks like it would be a better fit for high-power panels like the LG 315W panel than would the m250. Are they actually available yet in the US?

I called Enphase a couple of days ago about this issue for the very same reason. I was told they would be shipping to distributors the first week of November. I didn't want to wait or take the chance they were delayed and ended up going with Soleredge and optimizers instead. -
I was plan for this S280 to install an expanded system with 4 panels next year. But the main issue is it need envoy-S to manage

I guess I will need to wait to see how it works with the new batteries before doing so as I need extra $500 for one more envoy ...Comment
