    Thanks for the answer!

From what I could tell there is not option to sign up a company without committing to a $ per click from the Solar Reviews site, at least at first blush. I guess you could bid $.00 and no click referrals would be sent your way??? Is that true?

If and when I suggest that a company should try to list on Solar Reviews, is it really FREE for them to open a commercial account?

Howdy Bruce, I very confident that it will take minutes not hours and we don't spam people who write reviews or sell their info or give it away for that matter. Cheers

The whole process should take about 2 mins.

You cant submit a review unless the company has installed a system for you, so we don't take reviews about people commenting on the sales experience alone. We also have an auditor who checks them. When I was in the States I asked how many tried to write there own reviews and he said that they have kicked 14 companies off solarreviews in the last 12 months for either writing their own reviews or trying to write a bad review about another company.

If I had to do it again, I'd probably negotiate the timeline shorter than the standard 3 mos. they give themselves, but that may take away part of your bargaining power for price. . . Still very happy overall. . . .
Glad to hear that it all ended well -- If I didn't just start a new job (which has completely consumed me), I would probably be chomping at the bit.
On a positive note, I just received my HOA approval letter today. This is the last requirement after permit and engineering drawings completed for install to commence. I will ping my Proj Mgr to see when they will pencil me for installation. And it can't come soon enough -- I just got my SDGE bill today and it was darn near close to $500!

    Cheers,

    Louie
