Hey Louie, if you read the earlier parts of this thread, that was my big complaint, it seemed like there were 4 or 5 weeks with no activity and no communication, was pretty frustrating. The reality is I think they book that far in advance to keep feeding the pipeline, and are able to buy panels in bulk due to accumulating more jobs before purchasing. If I had to do it again, I'd probably negotiate the timeline shorter than the standard 3 mos. they give themselves, but that may take away part of your bargaining power for price. . . Still very happy overall. . . .Congrats on the install! -- I signed with the same installer (JPS) about 10 days after you and am still unclear when the installation will commence.
Did you have to coordinate approvals with your HOA? I understand that can take a couple weeks. I received the engineering design and HOA application paperwork a little over a week ago. Also, we received the permit from the City of San Marcos. So hopefully install is no more than a couple weeks away.Leave a comment:

Congrats on the install! -- I signed with the same installer (JPS) about 10 days after you and am still unclear when the installation will commence. As promised, pics of the completed install. Good thing is, the install was so clean, there is really no exposed wiring, or even conduit to show. Very happy with the final product, and yes, its fun to see your meter spin backwards

Howdy JBinCBad, would you mind sharing with everyone who your installer is? Just go to www.solarreviews.com and search for the installer go to their page and copy their page url into a post and all is good. We need to work out a way that is easier for people but for now that's the way to do it, cheers.Leave a comment:

Have to admit, I am very interested in seeing quotes and know the installers - not disclosing either really takes away from useful information that I can get here.
If anyone can point to good threads with the info, I would appreciate it!Leave a comment:
