what if you had a solar panel that was 8 inches by 8 inches....
and it could produce 12 volts and 8 amps...

So you have 8 x 8 = 64/in2

64/1550 = .041/m2

So at 100% efficiency a panel could generate .041 x 1000 watts = 41 watts

You are claiming 96 watts which is 234% efficient. If you buy that, then I have a book I can sell you that instructions you how to build a HHO generator for your car using nothing more than simple items in your kitchen that will make your car get 100 MPG. All it will cost you is $99 plus shipping.

Polycrystalline Solar cell that measures .42 volt, 2 amps, 1 watt
{for this panel we will use 4 of them}

now if you hook them up in series...
you have around 1.68 volts, 2 amps ,and 3.36 watts

and in parallel you have .42 volts , 8 amps and 3.36 watts

if this is correct ,,, further discussion will be necessary
if you think out side the box... the first post of this thread is possible

so then you can have the amps and the volts ...

then all of a sudden solar cells can do more than "trickle charge " batteries

solar panels suck so bad there is much room for improvment...

They have come a long way with solar the past few years. I'm kind of impressed with the solar panels. What I think stinks is the amount of batteries you need to do anything that pertains to heat.

Good luck with your project. The I'm willing to believe the holy grail of solar is still out there someplace.

then use a circuit of sorts to raise the voltage....

just like how a stun gun works... it takes 9V and raises it to hundreds of thousands volts..{ but no amps}

but in this case you only have .42 volts and only need 14V to charge yo ****
your panel makes the amps and the circuit makes the volts

But the WATTS have to remain the same. DC-Dc converters are everywhere, computer motherboards, stun guns, and TV's. But you trade amps for volts (exactly like your stun gun) A 15W panel, can still only generate 15 watts.
